Alternative practitioners consider diet to be one of the most important factors in health and disease. Many common diseases and ailments may be prevented or treated by a change in diet or supplementation in some cases.

The message for us all to eat healthily has rung out loud and clear for several years now. Many foods we eat today are far removed from their natural state; we rely on highly processed and refined foods enhanced with flavourings, colourings and preservatives. The chemical structure of the food is therefore changed by these processes and vital vitamins and minerals are lost.


Following a poor diet may seem to not matter in the short term but the sad fact is that this does affect how we feel and function over the long term. Consultation & Advice

Your first consultation consists of a detailed questionaire to be completed so it would be helpful to have your medication details to hand or any medical history/conditions written down. This enables me to make an initial assessment of possible underlying causes and any vitamin or mineral deficiencies. A diary will be kept.

The aim is to give guidelines to a healthy approach to nutrition and lifestyle, working together to help with any dietary changes, stress management, regular exercise, supplementation and positive attitudes.

A follow up consultation will be advised for about 2 to 4 weeks which offers support and allows for any adjustments to be made to a programme as progress is made. In between appointments, I am only an email or phone call away should you have any queries or simply be looking for support or advice.

Advice on aftercare is offered following your nutritional appointment and, should you be interested, how to maximise your own use of skincare and body products to further your own wellbeing at home.
